Sales and Marketing Strategist

With over 20 years of sales and marketing executive experience leading high performing teams and helping companies grow profitably, John brings a depth of knowledge in driving revenue. John has worked across multiple industries and business models including SaaS, IoT, and subscription businesses. In addition, he has led sales and marketing at companies of all sizes, from a Fortune 500 telecom company to Series A through D tech companies. He has developed sales strategies, go-to-market plans, and rebuilt sales organizations resulting in 10x growth in five years at one company, a successful exit at another and, most recently, a $70m Series D fundraise.

A Seattle native who got his B.A. at the University of Washington, John then moved east and received his MBA from Georgetown University and settled in the Washington, D.C. area. In his spare time, you can find John doing things that require a crash helmet—cycling country roads, skiing new mountains, or driving his car on track. He also enjoys travelling to new places and trying new foods. He resides in Bethesda with his wife and has two kids.
